Who we are

One Tree Medical is the registered fictitious business name of Anthony D. Rogers, M.D., Professional Corporation, a California professional corporation (Entity No. B20260317982), operating as a medical practice in Santa Barbara, California. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that entity.

This website is not medical advice

The content on this site is provided for general information about our practice. It is not medical advice, it does not create a physician–patient relationship, and it must not be used to diagnose or treat any condition. A physician–patient relationship is established only after you complete our intake process and are formally accepted as a patient.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not use this website to communicate an emergency.

Prescribing and electronic prescriptions

Any prescription is issued at the independent professional judgment of the treating physician, following a clinical evaluation. Submitting a request, completing intake, or contacting the practice does not entitle you to any prescription, and we do not guarantee that any particular medication will be prescribed.

We do not prescribe controlled substances outside a documented treatment relationship, and we prescribe in accordance with the federal Controlled Substances Act and California law.

Eligibility and location

Our clinicians are licensed in California, and services are offered to patients located in California. You must be 18 or older to use this website or request care.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your health history, medications, and allergies, and to keep that information current. Incomplete or inaccurate information directly affects prescribing safety.

Fees

Fees are disclosed before services are rendered. You are responsible for the cost of any medication dispensed by the pharmacy you select; pharmacy pricing is set by that pharmacy, not by us.

Intellectual property

All text, design, and materials on this site are owned by One Tree Medical unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Third-party services

We use vetted third-party services to deliver care, including electronic prescribing and health-record infrastructure. Where those services process protected health information, they do so under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for professional negligence, which is governed by California law and our professional liability coverage.

We may update these terms. The revision date above reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
